WME Nashville’s Brian Jones Promoted to Partner

Country music agent Brian Jones has been promoted to partner in WME’s Nashville office.

Jones joined WME nine years ago, bringing 25 years of booking experience to the agency. Jones launched his agent career at Buddy Lee Attractions, followed by an 18-year tenure at The Bobby Roberts Company. During his career, Jones has worked with artists including Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Don Williams and Joe Diffie.

In his role as partner, Jones will continue to oversee bookings for arenas, amphitheaters, theaters, and casinos in the Southwest and serve as the responsible agent for WME clients Chris Janson, Adam Doleac and Country Music Hall of Fame members Ronnie Milsap and Marty Stuart. Jones, a Belmont University graduate, is also a 2013 Leadership Music alum, a former board member of Mental Health America and a member of the ACM, CMA and IEBA.

Jones’s promotion is part of a larger round of moves and hirings within WME Nashville’s country and business affairs departments.

Four from WME Nashville’s country department have been promoted to agent, including Lindsey Dodge, Kevin Falck, Adam Fisher and Moira McCravey. Additionally, Kari Kronsbein has been promoted to manager of human resources, Dylan Zenga to business affairs executive and Carlile Willett to coordinator in WME’s country department.

New hires to WME’s Nashville office include Stefanie Billue as tour marketer in the country department, while Kara Lusk will lead external relations.

Billue started her career in radio, with stints at Cumulus Broadcasting, Entercom Communications and Sarkes Tarzian, where she was an on-air personality and led station promotions and events. Billue served as marketing director for Outback Presents for 13 years before starting her own live event marketing and brand management company, SB Marketing Inc.

Lusk joins WME from Sweet Talk Publicity, and previously served as senior membership manager at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.

“Each of these individuals embodies the spirit of WME’s Nashville office, bringing a tremendous amount of talent, expertise and energy to the team” said WME Nashville co-heads Becky Gardenhire, Joey Lee and Jay Williams in a joint statement.  “We’re excited to recognize the hard work of Brian and our newly promoted agents and staff, and welcome Stefanie and Kara whose arrival will enhance the way we serve our clients.”

The announcement follows a recent round of new partner and agent promotions in Nashville in WME’s contemporary department.
