CISAC has raised 1.2 million euros for their “Creators for Ukraine” fund, launched to aid artists victimized by the continuing war in Ukraine. Donations have come from various sources, including 21 of CISAC’s member societies and its creator councils. So far, the money has helped over 700 individual creators in the war torn country and has also been allocated to Poland’s society ZAIKS, which has assumed a leading role in assisting refugee efforts, providing medical supplies, food, sponsorships for arts education and more. Smaller sums have also been distributed to humanitarian efforts in Hungary, Slovakia, Romania, and Moldova.

As a writer, Scott has bridged both the country and pop worlds, with songs by Jason Mraz, Morgan Wallen, Ben Rector and Carrie Underwood, and artist career highlights include opening for LANY’s 2021 fall tour and debuting his single “Texas Girl” on The Kelly Clarkson Show.
