The 2022 Met Gala is the ultimate fashion event, and Normani served and delivered.

The “Wild Side” singer walked the red carpet in a Christian Siriano two-piece set, including a black caged crop top with puffed sleeves and a billowing, matching skirt. The look was complete with a black turn-of-the-century-inspired headpiece, sparkling earrings and a sleek green smokey eye.

“I just love this look,” Normani told Vogue’s livestream host La La Anthony of working with Siriano. “He was so patient with me. I know I can be a bit of a challenge but we really collaborated and I feel so beautiful.”

For what’s coming up in her music world, Normani said, “You can expect that uptempo that you are all are waiting for. I know what the people want.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, Regina King, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds will serve as co-chairs of this year’s event with the theme of “Gilded Glamour,” inspired by the turn-of-the-century Gilded Age in American history. The theme encourages today’s biggest stars to interpret late 19th-century clothing through a modern lens.
